 | About the Artist:Erin Sherrill attended UNC Charlotte and studied Art Education with a concentration in painting. Since then she has taken several metal smithing classes and developed a love for creating her own jewelry line. Along with jewelry she has always had a love for animals, especially dogs, as she and her husband have 4 of their own. She often is comissioned for dog portraits and of course, loves to paint her crew. While attending college her explorations in painting helped nurture her obsession with texture. Often you will find her artwork to be heavily textured with anything from acylic mediums to egg shells or spray foam. Since teaching elementary art, her youthful side has come out in her whimsical & sometimes playful birds. She enjoys using a wide variety of mixed mediums, which is evident in her work.
